I’ve spent hours searching for this website after seeing you (Leah) on BBC HardTalk.
I am so affected by your story, I want to help…. but, apart from donating money, which I about to do, what else can I do???

dear Leah
I heard you on Woman’s Hour this morning and it was great to hear your voice speaking about these brave women and children who have surived. I have been following the worldservice reports about this over the last year and felt quite helpless about what I could do to help or raise awareness. Besides donating funds how else can I help? Contacts I have suggested contacting MSF however I would like to offer assistance with your charity as you deal directly with women and children in rebuilding their lives.

I’m donating some funds after hearing part of the programme on Radio 4 Women’s Hour. I cannot believe the horrors that one human can inflict on another and wish you all the very best with your work.

I bought a newspaper this morning and began to read Leah’s article in the magazine in the evening. At the same time I turned on to BBC2 programme ‘Shooting Dogs’. The two have moved me to the core. I need to do something I want to do something. I prayed for the madness to stop. With all my heart I pray for the madness to stop. You are blessed for he has called you to do a mighty work may he strengthen and keep you.

I read your story in the Daily Mails ‘You’ magazine and was deeply moved by it. Apart from donating money, is there any other way to help these poor souls? I was thinking of the gift box scheme whereby people fill a shoebox with items to suit the recipients and send them all to the area. (e.g. for the women - sanitary protection, soap, etc. and children - soap, small toys, little clothes etc.) Would this be any good? I’m sure I can get my friends to do boxes for this good cause.

Your donation link does not work, please supply an address to forward our donation.
Why is it we can get so hot under the collar about Iraq, and not offer proper aid to this terrible situation, the world powers really need to reflect on their morality, ordinary people like me want this dreadfull behavior put to an end whereever in the world it happens.l

Your newspaper article informs the world of the terror and violence inflicted on innocents. We must all speak out against such atrocity.

I was moved to tears while reading your article in ‘You’ magazine on Sunday 15 Feb. I can hardly believe that this is happening on this planet, in this century and we in the Western world are oblivious! Please accept this small donation which I hope will help in some way.

Hi
Was wondering if their was another way of helping as well as donating money-can we send clothes direct?
Is there anything else we could do to help? Was thinking of also trying to do something to raise funds-do you do t-shirts-sponsor forms?
keep up the amazing work

Thank you for raising awareness of the horrific suffering in The Congo. I would love to do more than donating money. Any suggestions? I cannot seem to donate through this website?

Is there another way of sending a donation through a Bank maybe? or a postal address to send a cheque or postal order? What about an arctic Lorry to take medicines, toiletries and clothes?
Please HURRY and sort out how we can give to these desperate women and children!
You did a fantastic job I read your article in my daughter’s magazine look. I’m sure every decent magazine newspaper and T V programme under the sun will do an article for you
